These are lyrics for my band a friend and I started up, we're just not going anywhere yet... no joke, we haven't had a band meeting yet, but I've already written lyrics. -rantish- Okay, here are some. :]

Thank you so much. :] I'm a huge self critic when it comes to my lyrics. x_x Anyway, we're thinking of being screamo with the mix of normal vocals. My friend wanted to be punk, but I think the rest of us wanted to aim for screamo/rock/alternative. And I bet I could scream, I just need to channel it a lot better.

Screamo with cleans called post hardcore, examples The Used, Silverstein, Alexis on fire etc.

Oh okay, I knew there was a name for it, I just wasn't sure what it was.
And that'd be pretty cool... are you willing to take road trips seeing as you're in Ohio? We're around the D.C area.

That'd be pretty cool. :] I've been trying to demote myself as singer for awhile since I can hardly sing/scream. And 8 hours seems pretty killer to me so if this works out, we'll do shows on some good occasions.

My friend wants me to, but I keep shooting it down since I'm way too flat and my voice is pretty low so I can't really go high. Until we find a clean singer though, I'm that person -_-

Those are interesting lyrics =)
The band thing might work out, but you're gonna need dedication... why don't you find a recording studio right in the middle of Ohio and W.DC... meet up there once or every two weeks to rehearse? Then maybe work on your songs online.. exchange vids on youtube or something...

Zatch: Yeah we do have a lot of time lol My friends and I are all fresh out of freshmen year. I bet before I finish highschool (and after all of us get our licenses haha) we could drive out on vacations when we're not busy. I can try and get the rest of the band to come over before our drummer and bassist leave for vacation and make a video, or if you have a webcam/mic, we could chat.
